While the image capture example results in no response or error messages on the IDE, accompanied only by a continuously flashing indicator LED?

"After flashing the firmware onto my OpenMV4P and connecting it to the IDE, why does the breathing light example script work perfectly, while the image capture example results in no response or error messages on the IDE, accompanied only by a continuously flashing indicator LED?

Furthermore, I am unable to determine from the source code where this fast LED blinking is triggered. Could you explain the logic behind this behavior?"

I’m not sure what is wrong…

I have the H7 Plus with the OV5640 and the latest firmware at the top of dev, and it’s working fine with Windows.

Given that the status bar is fully populated, it means the IDE was able to connect successfully.

What type of H7 Plus hardware are you using? Do you have an extension cable attached?

I compiled the firmware from the latest source, and I’m not using a USB extension cable.

Is it blinking very fast and mostly white? That’s what happens when the system hits a hard fault… typically caused by flashing the wrong firmware.

Can you instead do: Tools→Install the Latest Deve release?
