We are trying to direct the IR and RGB LED lights to the outside of our custom housing for the H7+, to illuminate objects very near to the lens (macro shots) and to give diagnostic LED info. Are there any product recommendations for optical fiber that would do the job, preferably to clip or paste on the board? What level of light loss should I expect?
I don’t have any recommendations for you on this as I’ve never done it.

Standard 2 mm diameter waveguides (example) work quite well for the IR LEDs (and they should also work with the RGB LED of course, but thicker ones can be chosen). Can be cut to proper length.
