Special kind of security cam

I am new here and not very experienced in electronics so I need a little direction by an experienced member.

I would like to be able to make a custom security cam to record color video (the higher the resolution the better) and record the video to a USB or SD card because there is no Internet available where it will be placed.

If I get an OpenMV camera, is there a way I can download the video taken to a smart phone using WiFi or some other wireless method?

Also, if I took the camera to an area with WiFi, could the video be then uploaded to the cloud?

It can do all these things but you’ll have to implement it from socket level for a lot of the parts. Are you experienced writing this kind of code?

What components should I get? I was thinking 1) OpenMV Cam H7 R2 and 2) 802.11 OpenMV WiFi Shield. Would I need something else?
