Portenta H7 dfu-util issue

Hello,
I’m not able to use the portenta H7 on my MacOS , I get the following error :slight_smile:

If I enter the portenta bootloader mode OpenMV crashes.

Does the Portenta show up as a USB device in the operating system? The issue is with DFU-Util not finding the device…

There’s not much I can do if DFU-Util doesn’t find the device. Can you cd to “/Applications/OpenMV IDE.app/Contents/Resources/dfu-util/osx/dfu-util” and try to run dfu-util yourself using the the above arguments in bootloader mode? If you get stuck with the same issue then I’m not sure what to do.

The Portenta does show up on the operating system. I have tried running the dfu-util in the directory and first I got a similar message. Then changing the usb cable it seems to work.
