When I connect my OpenMV RT1062 camera via USB, the green LED always stays on and the blue LED flashes twice and then stays off for about 0.5 seconds, and during the 4th sequence of flashes of the blue LED the camera turns off and this error appears on my PC: Saying that there is an error in the unit, asking you to examine and fix it
Hi, that’s just saying that the FATFS wasn’t cleanly unmounted. You can ignore.
If the device is disconnected from the PC without an unmount then there’s a single bit that gets set on the FATFS that lets windows know the drive might be dirty and may need repair. You can select yes if you’d like or ignore.
Hi, no LEDs should blink with SBL connected to VCC, however, when you plug the device in OpenMV IDE should show the USB icon next to connect. Note that you need to connect SBL to VCC before the camera is connected to the PC. Then, when you click connect OpenMV IDE should go through the process of resetting the firmware on your board.
Once it’s finished, you’ll need to remove the camera from the PC, remove the wire, and then reconnect.
If the IDE does not see the device in SBL mode then it is indeed broken.
I tried exactly all the methods you mentioned earlier in our conversation. As a last attempt, I connected the SBL pin to 3.3V, and after connecting the camera to my computer, the blue LED stopped blinking, which indicates that the connection had some effect. However, after a few seconds, the green LED turns off and the camera becomes unrecognizable. What could this be, and is there any other possible solution?

Yeah, this should happen as SBL mode doesn’t run the normal firmware but the ROM Bootloader. However, given the blue LED is blinking on the board, that menas that the main firmware is okay as that LED blinks by the camera running a MicroPython script.

Is this the green LED on the right side of the camera, that should never turn off as it’s the power LED. It turning off means that the voltage rail system on the RT1062 is breaking. This could either be from bad USB power or that the board is damaged.
Do you have a power supply? Can you verify that the board blinks the blue LED without stopping if you just power it via 5V on VIN (and connect GND to GND)? Do not connect the SBL wire for this.
If the system fails doing this… then the board is damaged.
