OpenMV PureThermal stuck in DFU mode

My OpenMV PureThermal was working properly earlier, and I could program it through the IDE.

Now, the system is only detected as “Camera DFU Device” in device manager, and cannot be connected to via the IDE.

Pressing the power button makes the Green LED of the RGB blink approximately 8 times, and then shut off. Power LED stays green.

DFU util seems to work, and says “DFU Firmware Update Complete”. However, nothing really changes.

When trying flashing firmware, “No matching interface for the selected file name! VID: 14277, PID: 37381”

I have another copy of the board that works properly.

Any feedback how to troubleshoot this?

Thank you

@uusjuuso - I know the problem. It’s a driver issue. I am working on a fix for this right now and should have relief by the end of the week.

I will update this post over the weekend.

Hi Kwagyeman, was the successful?

@uusjuuso - I’ll have an IDE release for you shortly that resolves the issue on Windows. If you have Linux/Mac the IDE should be able to talk to the Pure Thermal right now. Otherwise, please wait till the end of the month which I am targeting for release. I may have an earlier version available.
