Flir Boson VTX Compatibility

Hello,

Would it be possible to send a video an analog transmission by connecting a Flir boson to an RT1062 and the non wireless TV shield which is connected to an analog VTX? I see the TV shield has a video pin. I know there is a wireless TV shield but I would prefer to use my own VTX for a higher power output/longer range.

Yes, this will work very easily. Just 10-15 lines of Python code to make it happen.

Note that the NTSC shield max res is SIF resolution 352x240. So, use it with the QVGA FLIR BOSON Module (320x256), you can send the grayscale or thermal colored image. The shield can do 30 FPS output. So, you only need the lowest end FLIR BOSON.

Something like this.

Use the arguments of display() to control how the image is rendered.

Also, you want triple buffering. It really helps the performance.
