Difficulties connecting to RT1062 R5 to IDE on Windows11

Newbie here but, I did try looking through older forum posts for a solution before starting this one

I am trying to connect the RT1062 R5 to the IDE (4.8.1) under Window11. When I plug in the USB Cable, the green LED stays on and the blue LED blinks as expected. A Windows Explorer window opens and I can see the contents of the RT 1062 [3 files: .openmv_disk, main.py and README.txt]. When I try to connect with the icon in the IDE, the blue LED stops blinking and after several seconds, I get the attempting to “Connecting…“ message, “if this takes longer than 5 seconds press cancel” after cancelling, and several more seconds, I get a message “Error: a device attached to the system is not functioning!”.

When first powered up and before attempting to connect to the IDE, I can edit the main.py file (change LED colour, blink rate etc…) so, it seems that the USB cable / connection is good. I have tried a couple of cables and a couple of USB ports as well, all with the same results. I have 2 RT1062s and they both behave the same way…

I am not sure what to try next?

Please use the updated IDE version: Download – OpenMV

I fixed an issue with connecting to firmware v4.7.0 on the RT1062.

That worked! Thank you @kwagyeman you are 2 for 2 with helping me out! I am grateful.
