Since the camera extension cable is in shortage and I have not been able to get it since December 2020, I tried using hookup wires to connect the camera to the board but it does not work. It gives “pixel format not supported” error. Any suggestion as to why it happens and is there any solution to this apart from the connectors that are currently unavailable.
I can’t say for sure what’s wrong with your setup, if you post some photos maybe I can help. Other than waiting for the extension cable, you can try to make your own it’s basically just a flex PCB, you can order these from oshpark: OSH Park Docs ~ Services ~ Flex PCBs
