You should definitely buy an N6. It’s going to be awesome. Please back the Kickstarter.
However, we only plan to support in our code base our MIPI sensors. However, nothing stops you from using our sensor templates: Sensor Templates – OpenMV to design your own camera module and or FPC adapter to all the RPI cameras.
That said, quite a lot of work goes into the C code for a camera driver itself. This is not easy.
