OpenMV Cam RT1062 - RuntimeError: Failed to detect the image sensor

Hello,

we worked with the OpenMV Cam RT1062 for three weeks now - without any problems. But then the RunTimeError “Failed to detect the image sensor or image sensor is detached.” showed up.

We are using the newest firmware, the cam looks good and we already changed connecting cable without any positiv results.

I attached an screnshot by running the hello world programm. Any ideas?

Hi, I currently test the RT1062 and swap sensor modules off/on the board all the time and it doesn’t break. There’s no reason the hardware would stop functioning normally unless damaged.

Has the board experienced any serious ESD in the environment you are in? E.g. touching of the back area of the camera module connector area by hand? Or, is there any damage to the board components near the camera connector?

Hi, there is no serious ESD in the room, all other electrical devices are still working fine. We did not touch the back area of the camera module. There is no visible damage on the board at all, also not near the camera connector.
