I would like to know your suggestion on how to detect the IC on a tray like what you see in the picture using OpenMV H7 plus.
I tried the tutorial lego brick finder from digikey but I got a lot of false positive.
Appreciate your help.
You should use a different illumination source and camera lens. I.e. shine IR light on the tray and use an IR lens and look at the reflectivity. This may make the problem easier.
Finding black things on a black surface is going to work poorly in general if you try to do this with a regular camera.
