Extension cable for PAG7936

Hi OpenMV Team,

I noticed on the website that the current 80 mm Camera Module Extension Cable doesn’t work with the PAG7936 MIPI sensor, and that you’re working on an updated version.

I’m planning to use OpenMV N6 boards with PAG7936 cameras and need an extension cable. Is the updated cable available yet, or do you have an estimated release date? If not, is there another compatible solution you would recommend that lets me keep the resolution to a minimum of 640x480?

Hi, we have 8cm, 12cm, 16cm, 24cm, and 28cm cables coming out soon. As for the 8cm cable we sell. The issue with it not working was fixed and it works with the N6 now. Just make sure to update to the latest dev release firmware.

Just to clarify, do you mean:

  1. The currently available 8 cm cable works with the PAG7936 as long as I update the N6 to the latest dev release firmware?
  2. Or is a new revision of the 8 cm cable required for it to work? If so, do you have a rough estimate of when it will be available?
