I’m trying to detect orange ping pong balls very far away using the machine vision and threshold. However it doesnt detect the orange ball from around 50cm away. Is there anyway to fix this?
Hi, you have to play with the settings for the color thresholds and the pixels/area_threshold values.
You can edit color thresholds with the Tools→Machine Vision→ Threshold Editor.
Once you get good thresholds for the image you are looking at you can apply those and then you just need to edit the area/pixel threshold value that controls what size objects match.
