Did anyone try before the april tag detection of openMV in the presence of fisheye lens ?
Did anyone succeed to connect openMV in the ROS eco-system? Arduino boards are trivial to be connected through ROS-Serial is it the same for openMV ?

Yes, the ultra wide angle lens works with April Tags.
