trying to pick and place with robotic arm and open MV

I am programming a robotic arm to pick and place objects after identifying them through open MV cam.But the problem is i dont have an extra arduino board.
now i have connected both the arm as well as open mv cam to my computer so what i am trying to do is once the object is identified from open mv cam it instructs the robotic arm accordingly to pick and place the objetct.So if i can access open mv cam through python ide and then instruct the robotic arm after the open mv gives the output according to the picture.Once i get the output from open mv i will access the port of robotic arm and then code it to pick and place the object.

Can you please let me know weather i can do this or not and also what procedure i need to follow???
