OpenMV IDE being ported to raspberry pi 5

Hello, I’m newer to programming trying to use the OpenMV ide on my raspberry pi 5 using the steps listed out on the OpenMV read me and the two forums,( How can i download openmv ide on rasberry pi 5 , and Bookworm installation: python 3.11+, libicuuc.so.67, and qt 5.15.0 · Issue #201 · openmv/openmv-ide · GitHub ) but I’m receiving these two errors. If anyone could help me out that would be amazing

Hi, we currently don’t support raspberry pi at the moment. The issue is that I need to regenerate this for the latest version of the Raspberry Pi OS: GitHub - openmv/qt-raspi: Qt 6 Cross-Compile for Raspberry Pi · GitHub.

I’ve taken down the build for this until this is redone.

Ah thank you so much where would i go to get notification on when it has been updated and supported again?

It wasn’t on my roadmap to resolve. I’ll see if I can make some time to try to fix this again. It should take less time than it did before. Maybe 1-2 days of intense work.

Thank you so much, you’re the best

Hi, we have a customer where this feature falls into their roadmap requirements. Given that, I can tackle this in the June/July timeframe.
