Hello, Congrats on a kickstarter project run well done!

  1. Is the AE3 cell shield still happening? Is it in the works / certified / any ETA for when we can buy it from the store?
  2. I suppose the cell shield would also have the necessary pmic/buck boost etc for battery connection (which AE3 does not support per kickstarter) ?
  3. Will the schematics be made available for both the AE3 and it’s cell shield?

Looking to back the project for OpenMV AE3, it’s breakout board and the cell board.

I am a small developer and keen in knowing the availability of schematics / gerber files etc.

We’ll be able to execute it next year. We are still waiting on a customer to appear to actually help pay for development of the firmware on on the Golioth side of things.

Yes, it has a high voltage interface 6-36V, a Lipo 3.7V, and a low voltage interface 1.8V to 5.5V.

Note that we will be offering a battery shield on the store launching about the same time as the AE3 which will have these connections (minus the cell part).

Will the schematics be made available for both the AE3 and it’s cell shield?

The schematics will be made available via the Alitum plugins on the website. The gerber files will not.
