IDE does not detect SD card

I have a strange problem. Tried several SD cards, even the recommended Samsung EVO. When SD card is inserted into OpenMV Cam H7, it shows up as a OSX volume all right (I can even format it), but the IDE does not detect it, saying “No valid drives were found to associate with OpenMV Cam!”. The card is formatted.

Latest firmware, current ID.

Please, do you have any idea how to fix this? Without SD I can’t do much.

There needs to be the openmv_disk file on the drive. It’s likely not FAT formatted.

When formatting the card make sure to create MBR and that it has 1 partition. Format using exFAT (recommended) or Fat. I remember a similar issue, just can’t find the link right now.
