Nicla Vision using the output

Hey, I am using a Nicla Vision to detect the lid of a beer can and after that it should sent an output signal to a DC motor to rotate the beer can in the right direction. The only problem I’m facing is that the output is only 4,7 mA and 3,3 V. I was trying to fix this by using a relay or optocoupler to trigger another circuit that has enough current to power the motor but I wasn’t able to figure it out. Hopefully someone here knows another option I can try or how to fix my current solution.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that’s exactly what you have to do. The MCU isn’t designed to drive motors itself. You need to use a motor driver PCB.
