I am fairly new to OpenMV and was trying to increase the FPS on the OpenMV H7 Plus. I saw somewhere on the forum that this is a common issue and in development was a method to crop the image to increase the FPS. Has this been implemented? Or is there another way around this? Disabling the frame buffer also does not increase the FPS.
I’m working on double buffering. This will double the FPS. It should be done by the end of April. So, please develop your code with this assumption of a speed boost in mind.

The readout window is implemented in the fw for OV5640/MT9V034 there should be examples on how to use it, it’s enabled with ioctls… but also yes double buffering is next in line.
