Cam H7 R2 Color Channel Gain Example Not Working

Hello,

Anyone else have issues with the H7 R2 not accepting manual color balance gain values? Even when I use the sensor_manual_whitebal_control_2 code provided, uncomment the code in line 29, place is values of (1.0, 0.5, and 1.0), the image goes back to an unchanged image (that isn’t color balance) and the script outputs 0. Chaning the values doesn’t do anything and the get_rgb_gain_db() call only returns 0.0, 0.0, 0.0

The camera sensor doesn’t support that feature in the R2. So, it won’t work.

So what controls do I have over the image? Is my only option for color balance on and off?

Yeah, more or less on camera startup. I can give you the register guide but there’s nothing in there to control this. The camera just doesn’t expose these features.
