OpenMV Camera not working

Hi OpenMV Team,

I purchased OpenMV and i was able to connect to my windows 10 laptop. It is new device.

But i can not see anything on my camera in OpenMV IDE. Not sure camera is working. It just shows no image, only BLUR. I am not able to see anything through the OpenMV camera in IDE. Not even Hello world script.

Sorry. I missed to add the screen print.

Attached is the problem i am facing , i can not see anything in the camera.

As this is new device, i expected it to work. But I am not sure whether i am doing anything incorrect or device is faulty.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to focus the camera lens. You do that by changing the lens screw distance until the subject is in focus.

Thanks for the reply. I am able to focus it and see now.

But picture is not sharp, little blurry even if i focus as well. Is it because of any cleaning(Camera IC etc) that i need to do? Any video link(or INstructions) on how to do will be helpful.

I am really sorry if i am asking very basic questions.

The IDE scales the image in the view finder. Turn off scaling and set the resolution to VGA. This will produce the sharpest vision. However, the OV7725 sensor doesn’t produce sharp pictures.
