# The chess calibration on OPEN MV

Hi there, i need an information. Are there a function or something like this, that can calibrate the camera frame with a chessboard, like the chessboard calibration of OpenCv. Thanks!

no calibration on openmv.  
There is a lens correction tool,  
see img.lens\_corr(1.8)

On the roadmap later this year is to introduce lens calibration at the level of OpenCV as it is a very in demand feature.

The OpenMV Cam RT must be launched first, then the IDE needs to be updated, before I can work on general firmware improvements.
