# OpenMV IDE Error reading

Hello, friends. I am getting the following error when opening OpenMV IDE:

“Error reading \<user\_resources\>/openmvide/firmware/settings.json: No such file or directory. OpenMV IDE versions before v4.3.0 do not have this file and would have deleted it when installing resources.”

I am using Ubuntu as my operating system.

Hi, please delete “~/.config/OpenMV IDE”. This will erase any settings issues.
