I2C1 on arduino Nicla

Hi everyone,

I would like to connect a GPS PA1010D to the I2C N°1 on the Arduino Nicla Vision.
I tried to write a very simple code to scan if the GPS is recognised.

from machine import I2C
i2c = I2C(1)
print(i2c)
print(i2c.scan())
#(very simple)

Terminal :

I2C(1, scl=B8, sda=B9, freq=892857, timingr=0x70330309)
[]

But the scan is empty even is my gps PA1010D is connected with a green LED.
I tryed to change the bus frequency :

from machine import I2C
i2c = I2C(1, freq=400000)
print(i2c)
print(i2c.scan())

Terminal :

I2C(1, scl=B8, sda=B9, freq=892857, timingr=0x70330309)
[]

So the frequency didn’t change and stay at 892857.

So I’m stuck. the GPS don’t want to be connected and if the problem comes from the bus frequency, I can’t change it.

I looked for existing modules for PA1010D on github but they come with other modules that return much more errors. So I wanted to start simple.

Any help or idea is welcome. Thank you.
