It shows it is in DFU mode.
When you click the connect button on OpenMV IDE it should ask you how to flash it.
It would be helpful if you could tell me which OS you are using.
I am using windows and i tried to flash it every single way but it is not working.
Uh, well, we haven’t manufactured these cameras in years. So, it’s likely a clone. It could just be damaged and/or built wrong.
Our software should work on windows to reset it though if you connect BOOT0 to RST via a jumper wire and then plug it into your PC and click connect. OpenMV tries via DFU-Util and DFUse. So, if the wrong driver for the DFU device is installed, it will handle it.
One thing to try if all else fails is to go into the device manager on windows, find the device in DFU mode, and uninstall the driver (make sure you have the right device). Then disconnect it from the PC and plug it back in. The correct DFU driver for it which the IDE installs then should be loaded.
The device is not detecting when i connected it manually. But when i use the Jumper wire between BOOT and RST then only it is getting detected.
Yeah, that means the firmware is missing. So, you need the IDE to reset it.
However, as mentioned before, we have not sold these cameras in a very long time. So, if you just bought it, then it’s likely a clone.
If you are not able to restore it via the steps I outlined above with the IDE then you may wish to contact the seller for a refund.
