# Global Shutter Sensor Capture Resolution

What is the maximum capture resolution for the global shutter sensor on the new RT series camera? Can you get ~ full / VGA resolution capture. I’m analyzing if it will work for my application and need to know the resolution to assess range possible detection of objects, etc.

It was not obvious that you could do more than QVGA from the normal web pages.

It can do up to 752x480. This is the max resolution of that sensor.

Since you have 32MB onboard you can handle very large images.

The product page mentions the maximum image resolution under specs.
