# Alternate Camera Modules

Hello,

Will the OpenMV board work with alternate camera modules? I have a camera from Spinel Electronics, SC20MPA\_TTL family that was custom ordered with a wide angle lens. Not sure what lens options there are with your current camera. I ordered the one from Spinel because it has a wide field of view. I need to focus on an object that’s about 1" wide and up to 5" tall but is very close - only about 3 - 4 inches away. Only need that small segment of the image - rest can be thrown away.

No the image sensor is built-in it can’t be replaced, sorry.
