Color bars test is failing on H7P (3.6.3)

I've had a look at the code, but I'm not quite sure what it means.
COLOR BARS TEST FAILED. BAR #1: (255,255,255)

Is it expected that this is just a difference in the H7P camera vs H7, or is something actually wrong?

Global Shutter Module stock

Is there an ETA on new stock, or is it out of production?

Re: Logging to USB serial from firmware

Hey, I'm actually trying to print some data from within the firmware. e.g. in imlib.c void imlib_lens_corr(image_t *img, float strength, float zoom) { ... printf("This is some debug text I want to show up in the IDE text window"); // What function should this be, to output data from the open mv firm...

Logging to USB serial from firmware

Can I log to the usb serial window in the IDE from within a c firmware function I'm debugging?
What function could I call?

Is a lepton connected to GPIO possible?

The lepton module currently replaces the camera but I'd like to have both a camera and thermal.
I see it needs 1xSPI, 1xI2C and 4 bits parallel which is available on the GPIO.
Ignoring the software side, is it possible to do from a hardware perspective?

Re: H7 Plus rotation_corr broken?

My mistake, I see a heap allocation there umm_init_x which allocates on heap? The heap size is the same between H7 and H7 Plus. So the call is this: apriltag.c:12328 void imlib_rotation_corr(image_t *img, float x_rotation, float y_rotation, float z_rotation, float x_translation, float y_translation,...

H7 Plus rotation_corr broken?

I've got some code that works fine on the H7 but not on the plus with the v3.6.2 and latest master build. The rotation_corr fails even at QQVGA with a MemoryError: out of fast Frame Buffer Stack memory. I can see between the boards that some blocks have moved to different ram. #define OMV_FB_MEMORY ...

Is the I2C for MLX90640 thermal sensor software/bit-bashed?

If so why?
Just want to understand before I spend time trying to change it to hardware.

Fixing and improving imlib_draw_image

Hi, I have improved the imlib_draw_image method by: 1/ *DONE* Fixing the broken application of alpha when using RGB565 images. * The current release gives weird rainbow effects as the alpha value is just multiplied by the color value. 2/ *DONE* Adding the ability to pass a color palette when the oth...

Attempting to access object in assembler

When I pass an object such as an image to an @micropython.asm_thumb method, what does the number represent? Is it a pointer to the underlying object, or is it a pointer to some sort of micro python object handle? If it's a pointer, are some types of memory protected so you cannot access them? I've t...

UART automatic baud rate detection

Hi,

I can't find how to set uart automatic baud rate detection in the docs.
If it isn't supported, can you point me in the right direction in the code to implement it?
I've had a look and I can see it in the HAL, but I'm not sure which file in the open MV source implements the uart library.

Cheers
