Actually that patch for 65535 bytes limit has been merged in our code (and upstream) a long time ago. Maybe you have an old firmware.

We don't solder headers anymore because customers prefer different types of headers (or no headers at all :roll: ) and yes if you solder the headers you can connect and disconnect shields.

@jcarlos These pins need to be soldered to the board to make electrical connections, it's not enough to just put them there. Do you know how to solder ? If not you should ask someone for help. Note be careful which type of pins you choose, they're very hard to desolder. Soldering those short pins on...

Measured with caliper gauge. Lens, I get 11.86/11.87mm anywhere on the thread, does not seem to be tapered. Base, I get 11.44mm from an avg of 6 measurements, this is harder measure accurately. I'm not sure it could be the lens, I'll contact our supplier and get back to you. @jcarlos are you having the same issue if you remove the screw ?

It would be helpful if someone can measure the inner diameter of the mount and the diameter of the lens to compare.

Actually ustruct might not work here, try something like this

Hi, these two colors look pretty much the same to me, maybe blob.count will help or find_circles for the orange ball.

EDIT: based on you reply, looks like you need to play with the find_circles thresholds it's returning too many false positives.

Yes that's what mask functions do they mask everything except the shape. Maybe you need to draw a filled object ? Try draw_rectangle(...., fill=True)

OpenMV cam is not based on pyboard, it uses the STM32H7 which has twice as much RAM and FLASH in the ESP32 and it's much faster.

Hi, you can save multiple scripts on the camera, but only main.py runs on boot/power on. As for face recognition, the camera can't do that yet but we're doing some upgrades to neural network and it may be supported at some point.

Unfortunately CAN has changed significantly from F7 to H7 and there's No driver in MicroPython. I started the support for H7 in upstream MicroPython but no one else has contributed a CAN driver yet. I could look into implementing a CAN driver for H7 soon.
