Re: OpenMV to Arduino

You definitely want to use SPI to send an image to the Arduino. So, make the OpenMV Cam into a SPI slave and read the image out. You just have to do the sync byte things I did in the script and then it's pretty stable. That said, why do you want the Arduino in the equation at all? What can it do th...

Re: OpenMV to Arduino

I read through this and your other linked thread. Do you still think these scripts are the best possible methods for sending images through an arduino device? Do you think SPI is better than I2C?

Re: Number Recognition? Is it possible?

I am looking for a rating of 1-10 in terms of how hard you think this would be. Anybody try this yet or have code examples?
Thank you!

Number Recognition? Is it possible?

I thought of a project where the openMV could look at an odometer-type meter and quantify the analog output as a digital value. Is there any type of HARR that is sophisticated enough to do alphanumeric recognition? I imagine that this requires a neural network but I wanted to ask. Ideally I would se...

Possible to send data to internet via particle.io products?

I have been testing the beta version of this camera and it works! I'd like to be able to access the images and the processed data (like how fast objects move) over the Internet. it is cool that you have a Bluetooth and a wifi shield for this but if like to use cellular a la particle electron. Do you...

Re: Installer for windows.

Double clicking on windows 10 and won't run. Tried run as admin. Do I need to have the camera plugged in to run .exe?
Edit:I suppose I should ask on github. Sorry.

Using cameras on vehicle for land departure and look ahead

you know what's interesting, that we don't have cameras for side mirrors on our cars. I know that there are likely good reasons but I thought the following would be an interesting project. What if one of these was placed at either side of the car near the front of the car, pointing out sideways. Thi...

Installer for windows.

Hello. I would like to try an updated windows installer on my windows 10 machine. I have the alpha device. One works and the other has never worked right.
