Re: Find_Line_Seg doesn't work with ROI from saved image?

I just ran it in that latest firmware and it finds the line segments using the roi option. Looks like a bug in the old version of find_lines.

Thanks

Re: Find_Line_Seg doesn't work with ROI from saved image?

This is the old find_line_segment, I'm running firmware v2.5.

However, this same problem occurs for find_lines as well, has this algorithm been updated as well?

What do you mean by check if I'm passing ROI right?

Thanks

Find_Line_Seg doesn't work with ROI from saved image?

Hi, I've noticed a weird problem that has to be related to my code implementation. When I try to run find_line_segments() or find_lines() from a saved image, I get a list of lines that makes sense. When I try to run find_line_segments(roi = (...)) or find_lines(roi = (...)) on the same image, I don'...

Re: Max recursion

I'm not sure how deep it would go, it would depend on the image but I'd guess 2-3 recursions with each level having 1-4 elements calling a recursion. I wasn't aware that recursions should not be run on a microcontroller, thank you for letting me know this and for your alternate implementation sugges...

Max recursion

Hi,

Been running some tests and I occasionally get a pop saying "Maximum recursion depth exceeded" or sometimes just "ded" in the serial terminal. Is this a memory issue or is there a max number of recursions?

Thanks

Re: 3.4 FPS on Find_Line_Segments example

Ahhh, okay thanks for the help. I actually found a pre compiled version of openMV 2.5 and was able to test out the code.

Thanks

Re: 3.4 FPS on Find_Line_Segments example

Hi, I'm following the instructions for how to build openMV and I'm running into an issue at the following: sudo adduser (username) dialout Am I supposed to add my github username here? For example: sudo adduser XXXXXXX dialout ? I keep on getting an error saying that user XXXXXXX does not exist. Tha...

Re: 3.4 FPS on Find_Line_Segments example

Hi,

If possible, I'd greatly appreciate instructions on how to compile your faster code to test out the find_line_segments.

Thanks

Re: 3.4 FPS on Find_Line_Segments example

Hi Nyamekye, Thanks for the quick reply. I would be interested in running your code, can you provide me with more detailed instructions as to how I can recompile it? Another question that I have is what is the best way to isolate certain areas of the image and only apply processing to those sections...

3.4 FPS on Find_Line_Segments example

Hi, Recently I purchased an OpenMV and just getting around to using it now. Been experimenting with various options, examples etc.. just to get a better idea. I have noticed that my M7 was running really slow at 3.4 FPS when running the Find_Line_Segments function, if I disabled the video buffer it ...
