Re: importing a *.bmp file

Hi, Sorry about all the posts. My updated program is attached. I tried to attach a copy of the image file from the PC, but the following error message ensued "Invalid file extension: blkandwht12.bmp." I tried to attach a copy of the image file from the K drive, but it did not show there. All of the ...

importing a *.bmp file

Hi,
I am using the attached code to import a 16KB, BMP image file, into the Image frame frame buffer on an M7.
It gives a syntax error.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: usb cable

HI,
I think I answered your question wrong.
I am talking about the USB cable that goes from the PC to openmv board.

Re: usb cable

No, it was the big "A" connector.
The board is fine I think.

Do you have the official names for the cable connectors. I have no idea what to ask for.

Hi,
Believe it or not, a wild squirrel ate the end off of my USB cable. Can you give a part number or let me buy one from you?
Thanks,

Re: pixel value

A "REDO" of the previous reply.
If you get the time I would appreciate the ability to get the raw intensity value of the red filtered pixel.
Thanks

Re: pixel value

Thanks,
If I use image.get with QVGA and RGB565, I think the R in the tuple (R,G,B) would be close to what I'm looking for. What do you think?

Re: frames/second

I am referring to the FPS printed out using "print(clock.fps())" command in the script. The printout is in the IDE serial terminal.

frames/second

I run helloworld.py.
The fps printed out vary wildly--80 fps to 28 fps.
what overhead causes the difference?
will the fps be more stable when the camera is not run in the IDE?

I get an OSError 28 when I try to write to an open file .
I tried TOOLS/reset openmvcam. It did not solve the problem

I want to do the following using my MV7:
1. take a picture("image")
2.retrieve the pixel intensity data.
3.view the pixel intensity data in a file that is readable by the OpenMV IDE editor.
How do I do this?

Thanks
