CannyEdge Auto threshold?

Hi All, For my project the routine looks at various images having text and/or pictures. These can be white on light background but also black on a darkgreen background ( any many more variations ) I have seen some samples of auto thresholding but they don't translate 1 on 1 to openmv . For now I use...

Using the serial port is the best way to transfer data. Anyway, thanks for the post!
Hi I understood you can only send from one cam to the MKR, not three at the same time ?
Forgive my noobidity..

Mutiple cams talk to one Arduino MKR ( three masters)

Hi All, Just wondering if this is sound approach :P I have three cams performing analyses on moving objects ( around 2 or 3 per second). (so no time left to do heavy stuff ...) One Arduino MKR with an ethernetshield is handling the results for each object. Each cam send ok/notok info.. So all cams a...

External antenna on WIFI Shield?

Hi all,

My solution needs to be enclosed in an RVS metal casing.
I fear the WIFI signal will be lost, since the shield has no external antenna connector..
Can you alter the wifi shield to connect it an external antenna ?
Something like this (attached) ?

Re: Trigger on background color change

Hi Thanks for the advice :D I will do just that.. The system is to detect products without labels on a filling machine but some labels are transparent with just some white or black text on it.. I count lines and a total difference over the stats to compare current and previous.. That's seems to do t...

Trigger on background color change

Light seems to affect my trigger using l_ mean from image statistics only Something like : Img.capture St=ing.statistics while st.l_ mean > 19: Do Analyse object..... Img.capture St=ing.statistics What is the best...
